The California Western International Law Journal will host a Spring 2022 Symposium on International Sports Law: Myths and Realities.
This year, as spectators world-wide watch the World Cup in Qatar and the Olympics in Tokyo, legal issues regarding International Sports will be thrust into the forefront of our globalized communities. We are seeking publication proposals from attorneys and legal scholars who would like to contribute to a wide range of topics, which include but are not limited to: recruitment of international players, anti-doping, ethics, human rights, migration, employment contracts, gender disparities, and more.
Please submit your approximately 200-word abstract to the Editor-in-Chief via email at ilj@cwsl.edu by October 1, 2021 at 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time. Please include a CV. Selected authors may be invited to speak at our February Virtual Symposium event.
