Call for Submissions
The City University of New York Law Review ("CUNY Law Review") is currently accepting submissions for the Winter 2021 issue of Volume 24. Papers should be 25,000 words or fewer (including footnotes), and must focus on relevant and developing topics in social justice law. Citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th ed.) and appear as footnotes rather than endnotes. The Law Review is especially interested in papers on the subject of “Lawyering in Crisis,” broadly understood to encompass strategies for resilience and resistance to systemic injustice. We aim to focus on the longstanding injustices that have been exacerbated by COVID-19, and to center the voices and uplift the wisdom of communities that continue to be impacted.
Submissions should include: (1) a current draft of the paper; (2) an abstract; (3) the author’s CV; and (4) the author's contact information (name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number). Please send submission materials and direct inquiries to cunylr@mail.law.cuny.edu.
