About Me

Dr. Maggie Broderick is an Associate Professor at National University, where she serves as a Dissertation Chair, an Academic Program Director, and as a Faculty Lead for Social Emotional Learning. She is also the Director of NU’s Advanced Research Center and the Editor of the Journal of Online Graduate Education. Maggie is an active scholar, presenting at many conferences and publishing book chapters and journal articles, often in collaboration with colleagues and former students. She also serves as a scholarly peer reviewer, a content expert writing curriculum, and a provider of professional development activities. Dr. Broderick received her Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education at the University of Pittsburgh and her BS (Music Education) and MS (Education) degrees at Duquesne University. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of Education, including 8 years of teaching experience in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and additional PK-12 and higher education teaching experience in various teaching contexts. Dr. Broderick lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her family and is passionate about teaching and learning at all levels
